This is a picture taken at around noon time at 40 degree celcius in stark May sun. Managing the contrast was a huge problem. I had my hand held Leica dluxe 5.
The place is on the bank of river Yamuna, about 70 miles from Agra. There are a no of temples in a series and this is the main Shiva temple exterior. The red carpet is put so that you don’t burn your feat since you have to be barefoot. In spite of the carpet my feat were burning while I took the shot of this little girl who is begging at the entrance of the temple.
Rest is for you to judge.
